So I started journaling today in my new app, Momento. I'm so excited because it's super fun and I think I can actually keep up with journaling if it's on the spot kind of deal. I am also keeping track of all the stuff I eat. I hope that I will be more disciplined in every area of my life.

02.22.11 - iPhone madness

Okay I haven't posted anything lately because of the craziness of my move to NC. Yes, I moved to north carolina, along with 4 other families so far. We are starting a new church here and it's goin to be awesome.

Today, Anthony and Bethanie decided to both get iPhones out of the blue haha. Kinda reminds me of what I kinda did. But yeah I can't wait till spring break!! It's not like it affects me all that much cuz I don't go to school, but it's cool when friends visit :)

12.30.10 - almost a new year!!

so yeah, it's almost that time again, where people make resolutions so farfetched that they wont see it come to pass, unless they were willing enough to be disciplined and work hard for it. it's so easy to just throw something out in the air like that, but to actually go out of your way to get it, that's a different story.

today, i actually recorded a song i wrote about facebook. okay it's not professional, cuz it was done with my iphone, but i still feel accomplished haha.

next step is the video i guess..i have a feeling its gonna be a great hit! :)

12.18.10 - christmas service

so tonight is the christmas service in church. yeah, i haven't made the time to blog lately because i've been kind of busy. so many things have changed in such a short amount of time - well, since the last time i've blogged anyways. my family is leaving yuma..without me, well..i'm sure that i'm going to follow eventually, but as for now no.

got a roommate since the last time i posted something, oh and i actually pursued photography and have taken a bunch of photos. but yeah i will update more often. i'll make it a priority. speaking of which i need to make my haircut a priority or i will look like a lion with a mane :)

wow, i haven't written on here for a while. but yeah, a lot has changed for me this past month. it's like i live in a whole new world...and with that comment, i'm sure all of you just thought about aladdin. haha. it's all good though. but yeah, for now, i just love my life. great work. great family. great disciples. and even greater GOD.

i'm learning to not be anxious about certain things..not rushing into anything.

i need to let GOD form me and her...whoever she is.

anyways..i'll update when the time has come..for change :)

07.22.10 - Booked

So the hotel is booked for the San Diego trip. Beach front and it's a pretty decent price.

So now.. All i have to cover is the itinerary for the rest of the trip. Wonder what fun things we can do in SD for 3 days :)

Regardless, it should be a lot of fun.

07.18.10 - choice

Faith can overcome any obstacle in your life. In life, you have a choice, and it's a simple choice - follow God or die. I know it sounds radical and kind of insane, but in reality, a man who doesn't follow God, well...he won't really be living at all.

I chose to follow God. Wherever, whenever. If He tells me to go, I will go. I love the fact God is continuously forming me, doily, that I would glorify His name.

Let's do this!!

07.13.10 - pranks

Today i learned that pranks can be harmless or really not cool. It can start a never ending cycle of chaos that will probably make someone cross the line from fun to war. That line isn't intended to be crossed at first, but some people don't know how to stop...a lack of self-control I'm assuming.

Not that any of that happened yet, but if you are offended that you've been found out, then really...you're just looking for a cause to get emotionally stirred up, because in reality..it's bound to happen.

I'm not tired today. Physically exhausted but not tired spiritually. I love my life and i think that living for God is what gives it meaning. Right now i have to get ready for work, but i love working and being able to bless others. Tonight is going to be a great night!!

Today will be the day where someone receives new life. A life-changing experience where everything they knew about themselves is wrecked for the better.

That, my friends, is called salvation. We need to reach out to this generation and lead the fatherless to Christ. Some of us missed the chance, but this generation is going to change the world.

07.05.10 - holiday work

man! so i worked on the 4th of july, and it was pretty awesome, but i did kinda want to see the fireworks this year..there's something about the bright lights and the loud bang that makes me happy. anyways..a new change is about to happen. i'm super excited, but i think it's just me being tired after getting home from work.

i don't care..i'm gonna go for it.. all the way.

nothing is gonna stop this change..and i'm so excited. starting now.

07.01.10 - just got back

well, i went to 2 movies, practically back to back tonight. first one was eclipse..turn out great! and the fight scenes were remarkable. but then i went to watch last airbender..epic FAIL! they ruined the names and the scenes were drawn out as well as having bad actors to do the movies..hmmm.. i didn't even get to sit with my bro, moses and miguel.

but before that epic adventure, there was a guy who smelled like B.O. in front of some of friends (brooke, levi, kyler) and then there was an annoying girl in front of me who pretty much clapped on everything and anything. oh, well, at least i got to enjoy some popcorn, candy and pizza! haha.

over all it was fun.

oh yeah, happy birthday moses! love you bro!

all and all, i had a fun night!

06.30.10 - movie day

today is my day off. then i'm back to work for 4 days straight. that's right folks, i'll be working on the 4th of july. :/ oh well. anyways, tonight i'm going to watch the eclipse movie, which i found out was really part 1 of the book eclipse. and then after that..wait for it..........last airbender at midnight!!

yeeeaaaahhh! i'm really excited that i actually get a day off to hang out and just chill. and i do believe i have cell today :) i'm excited. but as for now, i'm going to sleep. i worked last night haha!

06.22.10 - father's day

i know it's a little late, but i just posted up the pictures from father's day!!

we took my dad out to olive garden after church. we really wanted him to go to church, but he didn't want to. but soon enough, he'll start going ;). we all had a blast at olive garden, then afterwards we went over to pastor tim's to say happy father's day to him. we ended up staying for hours and hours! after that, i took a nap and went to work :)

06.21.10 - just keep learning, learning, learning

haha wow. okay that was from finding nemo if you didn't get the joke. anyways, have you ever felt like not doing something that you know you should be doing and you end up doing it anyways? well, that was kinda what my day was yesterday, but i really did like it. i learned a lot and i'm learning more and more everyday. not just about my job, but about life in general.

funny story - i was told that i was really cocky today. imagine that! hahaha, i'm like the least cocky person ever...weird.

06.19.10 - the wedding was great!

and i ended up staying up all night afterwards editing photos that i took. the photos turned out great though, so i think it was worth it. and, i finally got to take some decent pictures because i just bought a new camera! just check out the link above to see the actual photos. :)

they're also on my facebook, but yeah. i'm really considering doing photography as a business now..as well as my restaurant ;)

06.18.10 - jonathan and veronica's wedding day

so today is the day they get married. i'm so excited for them and also the fact that i'm going to be taking photos of their wedding. they hired a photographer, but i wanted to take photos too haha! anyways, a lot of my coworkers are encouraging me to start a photography business. i'm really thinking about it.

anyways, i'll write more about it later, but for now..i am going to bed with a tummy full of sushi. i love cooking after work haha.

wow this week and last week has been pretty busy for me, but it's been fun. this friday...wait for it...........it's jonathan and veronica's wedding!! wooooo hoooo! i'm so excited! and i got it off. so it'll be fun. maybe i'll catch the garter again! hahaha! that would be my 3rd one if i catch it..

maybe then it'll be my turn haha!

06.10.10 - it is good for man to work

so i realize that God made work...and work is good. so might as well enjoy it, right? work builds a man's character in so many ways, and i think that it's really there to fulfill is. yeah, you're probably thinking that i'm talking about work work, like the one we get paid for - and yeah that's really important. but the truth is, the most important work is the work of the kingdom, God's kingdom.

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." - Matthew 6:33

so God first, then everything after!

God has a way of letting us know who's boss. He humbles us when we need to be humbled and he lifts us up when we're downcast. in a way, He lets us know He's there watching over us and to remind us that He loves us. :) what a great God He is!

after work..tired as i am. i decided to do a little photo editing :) so that's what i did! i think i'm doing better than when i started.

i also cancelled the housewarming...apartment warming...whatever-you-want-to-call-it party today, since everyone seems to be throwing one. i even had a cake made and everything! oh well.

life is great. that's all i can say.

too much of anything can be really bad. example: eating too much till the point when you want to puke. not cool! anyways. i had a great night at work. learned a lot and still learning :) just got done eating out with some friends from work. :) i'm thinking of making some sushi when i wake up. hope that i wake up early enough.

05.27.10 - coming up: the p90x project

okay so here's what's coming up on my life..the p90x project. basically it's a hardcore exercise/diet program that's suppose to transform you from a blob to mr. 6-pack in 90 days. so i decided to take the challenge. it's kinda like one of those things that seems too good to be true, but i know that it's going to be hard work, but i'm going for it.

and this week, i'm cleaning house! - all my food is gonna be gone and replaced by awesome "healthy" food. my sister and bro-in-law are helping too! they started with the cherry chocolate chip ice cream i had. that's exciting. by the way. working as a nurse in the ER totally rocks! :) just thought you guys should know!

05.23.10 - wake up!

so today, i woke up to a loud banging on my door, and who's there when i opened it? 3 friends who really wanted me to get up and go to church! thank God for awesome friends who won't let you sleep past 9! and now one of the main things i'm doing is writing a novel, it's looking pretty good! yay for chapter 1! :)
